Our approach
At Busy Buttons CORE Charity, our Alternative Provision supports children facing barriers at school, such as bullying, anxiety, special needs (we call them “Superpowers”) or those unable to attend school. Through customised, experiential learning with creativity at its heart, we help children thrive and achieve their potential.

Introducing the iSTEAMH Programme
Our innovative iSTEAMH programme combines traditional STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) with the essential element of Imagination. Developed by our founders, experts in creative industries and education, the programme encourages creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving while nurturing individuality. It empowers children to “Be their unique BEST.”

What We Offer
Children in our Alternative Provision gain personal, creative and academic growth. As part of the iSTEAMH programme, they can work towards:
-
ArtsAwards Certification
-
GCSE Art, Craft, and Design (Edexcel)
-
Duke of Edinburgh Award (ages 14+)
These certifications provide formal recognition of their achievements and essential skills.

Who Is This For?
Our Alternative Provision is for children facing challenges in traditional school settings, including:
-
Home-educated children
-
Children unable to attend school due to anxiety, medical conditions, or other barriers
-
Children struggling with academic or social challenges, including bullying and special needs (Superpowers)
Age Groups
Our program is for children aged:
-
