Busy Buttons at
Royal Windsor Flower Show

A Busy Buttons CORE Charity and Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society partnership

It is a great honour and delight for the Busy Buttons team to once again present the specially designed Busy Buttons Childrens Marquee as part of its charity partnership with the Royal Windsor Flower Show. The design team at Busy Buttons has drawn inspiration for its designs from the simple geometric shapes in nature especially from our educational trips to Kew Gardens, Waltham Place & the Windsor Great Park. The designs reflect a creative consciousness, sustainability, recycling and little or no waste at the end without compromising on the design concepts offering a first hand exploration for children and the community with hope, ingenuity, perseverance and climate awareness. The lovely people at TESCO Windsor & Asda helped us get recycled materials. Our Duke of Edinburgh students helped with the process. It has been a great creative learning experience about our winged VIPs ( Very Important Pollinators) for all. On display are the giant butterflies created while inclusively working with the 10 local schools that have visited Busy Buttons in the last months. The Busy Buttons team took the workshop to the two special needs schools making it a truly inclusive learning experience for all the children. A big thank you to all the children and adults that volunteered behind the scenesbring alive the designs. The Busy Buttons Childrens Marquee is generously sponsored by Knight Frank. Ascot Races have kindly supported the project. Please contact the charity  on community@busybuttons.org incase of any queries or support you can offer.  www.busybuttons.org

Our Story

Once again this year Busy Buttons in partnership with the Royal Windsor Flower Show has engaged children from 10 local schools in creatively learning about the need to care for our VIPs (Very Important Pollinators) of Nature and their symbiotic relationships with plants and flowers, strongly echoing the Royal Society’s values and those of its patron King Charles III. As in the past 7 years, the school craft competition entries are beautifully displayed  in the Busy Buttons Children’s Marquee which less known to many is  specially designed and curated by the Busy Buttons team at The Royal Windsor Show.  The craft schools competition is kindly supported by Royal Ascot Races. Knight Frank has generously sponsored the Busy Buttons Children's Marquee.
